A Muay Thai Comeback – Pre-Fight Nerves & Rituals | TMTG #103

Sean Fagan Makes a 5th Round Comeback after Being
Knocked Down in the Fourth Round

No one can question this man’s heart after this night. It was Sean Fagan’s anniversary of winning the US WKA title after having his arm broken early in the fight.

As he entered the fourth round with blood running down his face, a broken nose disrupting his breathing, he knew that in order to win. . . he had to finish the fight. Fagan pushed forward aggressively, but it only drove him into the Thai’s counter right hand, planting him on the canvas where the count begun. . .

. . . it is in these moments that we are stripped down, bare to our core, displaying a glimpse of what we are truly made of. Do we stay down? Do we finish by holding onto our honor, focused on defending ourselves? Or do we take on the polar opposite, a mindset that requires relentless perseverance
