Drill #01: Alternating Repeat Kicks | Controlling the Timing and the Swing of the Bag

This drill is great for creating kicking power and in improving overall conditioning. If you follow all of the points of focus given by Chris in the video, you will notice that a great benefit of the drill is also rhythm, timing, and balance – the attributes that separate the good fighters from the great.

Drill #02: Long Teep vs Short Teep | Push Kick Distance Control & Balance

The long teep is a staple in keeping control within the fight, some regard it as the “Thai Boxer’s the jab”. Have you ever felt difficulty in landing the teep if you opponent continues to advance? Have you ever felt off balance, especially when the opponent gets past the full extension of your leg?

In this drill, Chris instructs us on the mechanics that can help you land the teep in both the short and long range situations. A drill created for great balance, teeping technique practice, and range control.
