Sean’s Fight Recap and 5 Ways to Keep Costs Down While Training in Thailand

It’s been a intense, grueling month at the Thailand Training Camp hosted at Diamond Muay Thai by both Sean Fagan of Muay Thai Guy and myself. As new students and fighters arrived at the camp, we noticed that a number of them were wasting their money in a way that would quickly empty out their pockets; for that reason we hopped on the podcast to talk about budgeting as a Nak Muay in Thailand. To finish off the month strong, the team put up two fighters to compete at Chaweng International Boxing Stadium in Koh Samui. Sean Fagan fought on the same card as one of our team members against a formerly ranked Lumpinee stadium fighter.

Although he felt prepared for the fight, he had to deal with a sickness the week prior which played a role in his confidence and fitness leading up up to fight night… how did he end up handling this challenge?
