The Purpose of Life [Video] – In Loving Memory of Jay Matias

What is the Purpose of Life?

Many pass without a sense of knowing, without living, without understanding their purpose – decades pass. Jay Matias, although less experienced in this game – considering the numerical symbol behind his age – found his life’s purpose in something that we all seem to be aware of, but very few truly understand with sincerity.

I didn’t personally know Jay. We have only exchanged comments, and a walk by each other at an event in New York City, but I also realize that many of whom I am not aware of. . . understand me. Before I can call myself a fighter I was a fan, and during this time I grew my appreciation for the art within the sport.

All before it felt global, Jay was one who stood out from the rest, not only because of his beautiful technique, timing and heart, but because Jay’s words always came with unexplainable genueinity. We simply hear what most people say and we can read through pages of well researched facts that roll straight off of our shoulders, but there are a few special beings, who’s single grouping of words create a vision, an understanding of what that person feels – as it is a reflection of our own thoughts:

To support the Matias family there has been a GoFundMe page set up to cover his funeral expenses.

Any donation counts, but your share of this video and GoFundMe page is just as valuable.

All proceeds will be directed to the Matias family to cover the funeral expenses. Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, and support.
